Some of the symptoms are:
Peripheral venous insufficiency is characterized by difficulty in venous return due to abnormalities in the walls of the veins, interrupting normal blood flow in their functioning. This condition is usually noticeable and in severe stages it can be very painful or involve the lower extremities if they are not treated in time.
Our Vascular laboratory is certified by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC), a commission that is responsible for regulating quality standards in each study and reading carried out.
We have highly trained professionals to carry out these studies and who continually continue to educate themselves month after month to obtain the most up-to-date knowledge on vascular conditions caused by venous insufficiency.

During this procedure, a catheter is introduced into the damaged vein and guided using ultrasound images. Then, once the carefully placed fiber is inserted, radiofrequency or laser energy is applied to the dilated vein through the tip of the catheter. As the catheter is removed, the heat does its job and causes the vein to contract and eventually seal. The patient will feel little or no discomfort as it is recommended to be under conscious sedation. The results are incredible with this procedure that promises to provide confidence and well-being to our patients.
VenaSeal is a technology that uses a specially formulated surgical glue or medical adhesive to seal, or close, the diseased vein, redirecting blood to nearby healthy veins and providing symptom relief. The VenaSeal closure system is a safe and effective treatment, offering a significant improvement in quality of life.
Varithena (polidocanol) injectable foam is an excellent alternative for the treatment of incompetent great saphenous veins, accessory saphenous veins, and visible varicose veins of the great saphenous vein (GSV) system above and below the knee. Varithena improves the symptoms of superficial venous incompetence and the appearance of visible varicose veins. Sedation is rarely or never required.
This treatment consists of the extraction or removal of the varicose or dilated vein through small incisions in the skin. It is a quick, safe procedure that helps eliminate large and prominent varicose veins, improving the appearance of the legs and the quality of life of patients. The treatment is performed with conscious sedation to minimize discomfort during the procedure.
Ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy is a cutting-edge treatment used to treat varicose veins and other symptoms caused by venous insufficiency. The treatment consists of introducing polidocanol with a small needle while being guided with ultrasound to guarantee the correct delivery of the product into the damaged vein. It is a quick, painless and effective treatment. Does not require sedation.
